J & J Wines is situated in the picturesque McLaren Vale wine region which is only 40 kilometres due south of Adelaide, South Australia in the heart of the Fleurieu Peninsula. The valley extends from the hills in the east to the coast of St Vincents Gulf in the west. For the visitors there is plenty of accommodation, fine restaurants and uncrowded beaches. There are many places close by to explore including the picturesque Kangaroo Island and scenic Victor Harbor.

The vineyard was planted in 1998 and produces a quality shiraz. The property is located in Rivers Lane in the heart of the township. The soil is enriched with limestone which enhances the growth of top quality grapes.
